The Mexican folk art on exhibition represents 25 years of collecting by one local couple, Ron & Cathey Merrill. Ajijic artist, Efren Gonzalez, shares his eight room gallery , filling the walls with his paintings of Mexico and each room with figural Mexican folk art. It is hoped the collection will educate and inspire others to appreciate and collect the beautiful handmade creations of the inherently talented artisans of Mexico. All paintings are for sale but the folk art is on permanent exhibition only.
